When the Track Meets the Runway

I’ve always loved fashion, but lately my Pinterest board looks more like a racetrack than a runway. There’s something about the sleek lines, the bold color blocking, the metallic edges. Formula 1 is turning into a mood board of its own.
When I first started watching F1, I never expected it to influence what I wear. But now, the connection between high-speed racing and high fashion feels natural. Both worlds are about risk, precision, and confidence, and in 2025, they’re colliding more beautifully than ever.
According to Formula 1's feature on Autumn/Winter fashion trends, this year’s collections are racing into the “motorcore” aesthetic, structured leather jackets, racing reds, utility belts, and futuristic fabrics that shimmer like car paint.
I love how this trend feels fearless. Fashion isn’t just about looking put together anymore. It’s about feeling powerful. There’s a kind of energy that comes from dressing like you could step into the driver’s seat and take control of anything.

Even the luxury world is hitting the gas. LVMH’s partnership with Formula 1 blends the craftsmanship of Louis Vuitton and Doir with the thrill of racing. From custom trophy trunks to high-end hospitality experiences, it’s more than branding; it’s storytelling.
What I love most about this crossover is how it celebrates ambition. Formula 1 fashion isn’t just about outfits, it’s about a mindset. It reminds me that style can be bold and strategic at the same time, that it’s okay to take risks, and that passion can be both artistic and competitive.
When I see the fusion of F1 and fashion, I feel inspired to keep blending my interests, to never box creativity into one lane. Because maybe the best ideas come when you’re moving full speed ahead.
xo,
Mishka!
